As a
psychologist, I conduct professional psychodiagnostics, assessing cognitive and personality functioning.
My reports are accepted by the disability commission of Slovenia and play a key role in determining the method of delivery for women with special psychological needs.
A special focus of my practice is observing early dyadic interactions and providing
psychological support during the perinatal period. I have supported more than
250 births and worked with women in complex psycho-emotional states, including migration and crisis situations, losses, infertility and traumas related to war. I have been present at deliveries and surgeries of varying complexity as a psychologist. In 2022, I was actively involved in supporting refugees from Ukraine and Russia, speaking on international platforms, including UNHCR.
I am the initiator and organizer of the International Symposium of Obstetric Care (ISOC), which brings together leading specialists in perinatal medicine and psychology from Finland, Estonia, Austria, Hungary, Italy, Russia, and Slovenia.
In addition to my practical work, I am actively engaged in academic and teaching activities. I teach psychotherapeutic and psychological sciences at the Sigmund Freud University and give lectures on psychology at various companies and organizations in Slovenia. My clients and employers include Slovenske Železnice, Narayan, Želva, the Postojna Women's Diseases Hospital, and others. At the invitation of UNICEF, I have conducted educational events for specialists and also serve as a mentor and supervisor for master's students in psychology and psychotherapy.
In my work, I rely on a
multimodal approach, combining respect for human uniqueness, scientific validity, and clinical experience. I believe in the power of careful support, in-depth analysis, and sincere professional presence.
